Customize the flow of your web scheduler to direct clients more effectively and efficiently
If your clients are complaining that it’s taking too long for them to complete the booking process, then it’s time to create a new scheduling route. Redirect the flow of your web scheduler so that clients reach the panels that are pertinent to their appointment’s confirmation.
For example, let’s say that you have clients who want to schedule doctors appointments for your urgent care practice. They already know the location for the practice, and only want to choose the doctor and the service. They don’t want to waste time choosing the location, but would rather choose the doctor and his/her service, enter in their information, and confirm the appointment.
With your web scheduler, your clients can do just that so that they can promptly schedule an appointment. How can my clients do that? If you have a TimeTap web scheduler, you can choose which panels you wish for your clients to see when they go through the booking process, and also advance them through the process with the following features below. Follow these steps to choose your scheduler flow:
1. Log in to TimeTap’s BackOffice
2. Go to the “Settings” tab > “Scheduler Rules & Logic”
3. Click the “Edit” button that is across from the heading “Configuration”
4. Change the Panel Flow drop-down to display “Staff > Service”
5. Place a checkmark in the box beside “Auto Advance” so that clients can bypass panels that only have 1 option (For example, if there is only 1 location for your urgent care practice)
6. Click the “Save Changes” button
This will speed up the scheduling process for your clients so that they can book appointments efficiently no matter whether they have a sick child who needs to see a doctor, an urgent need to have their car serviced, or any other need that they would have to set up an appointment for in a brief manner. You can see your changes reflected on your web scheduler when you walk through the booking process.
