If you remember, last week we talked about our awesome new package feature that can help you promote your services or classes through some really neat deals such as allowing clients to book 3 appointments with you for the price of 2 or take 5 classes with you for the price of 4.
This week we’re going to take you a little further as we talk about this feature, but before we jump into this week’s tip, I’ve got to ask you something.
How many of you have ever had a friend who goes to a gym class and they say how great the classes really are and you should join them sometime?
I know you’ve had a friend in some way or another who had a pass or deal on a service or class, and you’ve wanted to join them but would need to purchase your own.
Well, there’s good news with our package feature. Let’s say that Andra’s sister, Leanne wants to try a class with your business, but instead of Leanne having to buy one of your package deals just to see if that class would be suitable for her, she can redeem one of her sister’s deals.
With our package feature allowing friends, family members, or other clients the opportunity to redeem deals, this also gives them the opportunity to try a service or class with your business before committing outright to purchasing a package of their own.
And we’ve mentioned this before as a way to gain more clients through lower risks such as by offering deals. But let’s say that a friend, family member, or another client already knows how well regarded your services and classes are, but wants to use part of another client’s package - he or she can do that as well.
So today, we’ll show you how a friend, family member, or another client can redeem part of a package for one of your business’ services or classes.
How a Friend, Family Member, or Another Client Can Redeem Part of a Package
Okay, so last week we looked at a client, Issa, who wanted to take local skills class on social media marketing.
Let’s say that Issa really enjoyed that class with the local business and told several of her friends that they should try one of them out in their free time. Her friend, Victor, said that he would be interested in the Photography Basics class, and she wants to allow him to redeem her package and use one of her deals.
Here’s how we can allow Victor to sign up for Photography Basics while redeeming part of Issa's package:
1) Login to Back Office.
2) Add a One Time Appointment.
3) We’ll need to add Victor as a New Client.
4) We'll fill in the rest of his appointment information and save his appointment.
5) To allow him to redeem Issa's package, we'll click the link that says "Select package from a different client".
6) Now, let's search for Issa's client information.
7) We'll select her package to redeem one of her remaining deals (she's used 1/5 and has 4 remaining).
8) Now, let's save Victor's appointment.
9) And he's all set! We've allowed him to use one of Issa's class passes for the Photography Basics class.
And it's as simple as those steps in redeeming part of a package for a friend, family member, or another client so that they can try out your business' services or classes through our online scheduling system.
