How do I get more clients?

"I've already served some of my family members and friends, but how can I get more people interested in my services so that they'll set up an appointment with me through my web scheduler?"

It's good that you ask that question rather than doubt yourself and wonder if things are going to eventually turn "belly-up" because your client base doesn't expand, and you're a little afraid to market your business through different methods.

So, here are 3 tips on how to hack your business' growth & get more clients.

3 Tips on How to Hack Your Business' Growth & Get More Clients

3 Tips on How to Hack Your Business' Growth & Get More Clients

Tip 1:  Social, Social, Social

Market your business & brand on social

Market your business & brand on social

You don't have to be a complete social butterfly, but social media is a major gateway to getting your business and brand noticed.

If you're not already on Facebook, it is the most popular out of all social platforms according to a Pew Research Center article, and you should start a Business Page there. On Facebook, you could post blog posts on topics related to your services, go live with a behind-the-scenes look at your operations, or even hold an event that could bring prospective clients out who are interested in learning about a related topic to your business.

Tip 2:  Skip Snail Mail & Send Emails

Choose and email marketing platform and send out emails

Choose and email marketing platform and send out emails

Email is one of the best ways to build your business as far as marketing goes. An email address is a commodity: once someone subscribes to your business' blog, for instance, you now have the ability to interact with & share information about service details or deals with prospective clients.

And I don't know about you, but there are certain company emails that I keep an eye out for each week to hear about the latest deals or learn something new.

So, if you haven't already signed up for an email management platform like MailChimp, Constant Contact, or any others, let's get going!

Tip 3:  Get Potential Clients in it to Win it!

Hold contests to get prospective clients excited about your business or brand

Hold contests to get prospective clients excited about your business or brand

And as our last tip, one way to grow your client base is to sponsor contests and open these up to your followers on social media, subscribers through email, or even the general public to generate interest in your services and in turn hopefully multiply your scheduled appointments.

There are a number of different contests that your business could sponsor to include:

  • Product giveaways (if you own a beauty salon, barbershop, pet grooming business, and etc.)
  • Software/Subscription giveaways (if you're a software business, tech and hardware support business, design firm, and etc.)
  • Photo contests (if you're a photographer, events specialist, wedding planner, nail salon owner, fitness trainer, lawn care provider, and etc.)
  • Video contests (if you're language instructor, coach, and etc.)

And the list could go on - we even talk about more ways to get clients excited about booking with you here. But, by first investing in your target audience, you're hoping that in turn they will invest in your services.

What's next on our list? You tell us - if you enjoyed today's tips let us know with a thumbs up or a shoutout on social.

For now, happy scheduling & growing your business!
