If your business has certain policies and procedures that clients need to adhere to, you can easily opt to show them your guidelines on the first screen of your web scheduler. By showing clients your policies and procedures here, you’re simplifying the scheduling process by addressing typical client questions or even difficult questions before they book an appointment. In the long-run, this will prevent clients from making scheduling blunders and better prepare them for their consultation, interview, doctor's appointment, or other services that require certain information. Allow clients to see your business’ expectations while providing convenience with the Policies and Procedures section.

So, how do I get started with customizing my scheduling website?

We’re glad you asked! Follow the steps below to take your appointment scheduling to newer heights:

 

1. Log in to TimeTap’s BackOffice with your username and password

2. Go to “Settings” > “Mini Website Design”

3. Customize options in the “Navigation & Header” Section

In this section, you’ll see the following options:

  • Apply your business’ logo
  • Change the position of the logo
  • Change the navigation bar’s color
  • Change the header text’s label and color
  • Change the background color

Within this section, you can customize the colors of the navigation bar, header text, and the page's background color to reflect your brand. You can also apply and choose the appropriate position for a logo. Once you're satisfied with your changes, click the "Save" button and then the "Preview Scheduler" button.

4. Customize options in the “Text Info & Scheduler” Section

In the "Text Info & Scheduler" section, you can make changes to the following:

  • Choose whether or not to show the Left Section of your web scheduler
  • Choose the background color for the Left Section
  • Edit the text that will appear in the Left Section
  • Edit the Scheduler's height

As you can see in the image below, I have chosen to show the Left Section of Poag Tax Associates' web scheduler, change the background color of this section a light grey, and edit the top portion of the text. Once you are satisfied with your changes, click "Save" and then preview the scheduler again to see your changes.

Here's how their scheduling website appears so far...

4. Customize options in the “Bottom Section & Footer”

In the "Bottom Section & Footer", you can customize the following:

  • Choose whether or not to show the Bottom Section of your scheduler
  • Select a background color for the Bottom Section
  • Add in your policies and procedures
  • Change the link color in the Footer
  • Change the background color of the Footer
  • Change the text color in the Footer

In the image below, I've chosen to show the Bottom Section of the scheduler and change its background color to a light grey. I've also edited the Policies & Procedures to show Poag Tax Associates' guidelines. And lastly, I've changed the link and text color to the same light grey that I've used throughout the scheduler, and the background to their signature dark green color.

And here it is! It looks very as nice as clients will easily be able to associate the business with its branding colors if coming over from their website or booking on their website through an embedded scheduler. Clients will also be able to see their policies and procedures before setting up an appointment for their tax services.
