If you were with us last week, we talked about how to sync your TimeTap appointments with your Google Calendar for holiday event booking. This week we’re going to look at how to sync your calendar appointments with Microsoft Office 365.
Imagine for one moment that Laura, a financial advisor, for a local bank manages client meetings involving their personal accounts, small businesses, investments, and more. While she easily manages appointments through an online appointment system, she would like to be able to see those same appointments through her bank’s web-based mail client - Microsoft Office 365.
It would be so convenient, she imagines, if she could easily check her email for branch meetings, gatherings, and also be able to see when a client is coming in for an appointment. And truly, if you’ve found yourself thinking similarly, this can be as simple as syncing your booked appointments with your Microsoft Office 365 calendar. For Office 365 appointment scheduling, we've put together 9 easy steps:
9 Easy Steps to Setting up a Calendar Sync with Your Office 365 Account:
Step 1 - Go to your staff profile (or the staff profile for the individual who would like to set up the calendar sync) and click on “Calendar Sync”.
Step 2 - Click on “Office 365”.
Step 3 - Select “Office 365” as your Calendar Service.
Step 4 - Enter your email or phone number & password.
Step 5 - Accept permission for Cronofy.
Step 6 - You're all set! You can see the account you have synced as well as the Calendar name.
Test Your Synced Microsoft Office 365 Calendar
As we all know, it's highly recommended to do test runs when it's appropriate to make sure that everything is functioning as it should. To test and make sure that your TimeTap appointments sync with your Microsoft Office calendar, here are 3 simple steps you can take:
Step 1 - Create a test appointment.
Step 2 - View the test appointment on your TimeTap calendar.
Step 3 - Sign in to Office 365 and view your calendar there. You should be able to see the test appointment that you have scheduled there.
And that is how you can keep track of your emails, meetings, and view appointments when using Microsoft Office 365. With Office 365 appointment scheduling, you don't have to be concerned with switching back and forth between screens in order to see your daily schedule and appointments on your calendar.
